I've already done pelvic floor therapy. Will this actually be different?

Almost certainly yes — and here is exactly why. Most pelvic floor therapy addresses the muscle. It counts your squeezes, gives you a home exercise programme, and sends you home. What it almost never addresses is the nervous system driving the muscle. If you have done PT and you are still here, reading this, the nervous system piece is what was missing. That is the only thing this course is about. It is not a repeat of what you have already tried. It is the explanation of why what you tried did not stick.

I've tried everything. Why would this be different?

I've been told this is just what happens after kids. Is that true?

Common does not mean normal. Normal does not mean permanent. It has been years. Is it honestly too late for me?

No. And I want to be really clear about this because I know it is the fear underneath everything. Your nervous system it can learn, unlearn, and relearn at any stage of life. It has been waiting for the right information. The longer something has been a pattern, the more satisfying it is when that pattern finally changes.

Is this just more kegels?

If your pelvic floor is already carrying chronic tension from a nervous system stuck on high alert {which is extremely common in driven professional women}, adding more contraction makes symptoms worse, not better.
